About the project

Inside Haiti lets you live the Copa America Centenario from inside Haiti's national soccer team and shares the thrill of a nation's passion for this sports.

Feel part of the team with footages of motivation talks, tensions within the team, players' private moments and more. This is the story of a team with no chance of winning, but the pride to be back on the international sports scene and the fighting spirit to honor that chance.

In this little Caribean country torn apart by nature's power, soccer is a collective passion allowing everyone to escape life's difficulties for as long as the match lasts.

They all have one thing in common - a passion for soccer. Players, coaches, local music legends, even the President of Haiti, share their views on this beautiful sport.

Reginal goreux

Régi was born in Haiti. Adopted by Belgian parents, he made his career with the Standard Liège. He's got Haiti under the skin. (tatooed)

donald guerrier

Donald was raised at Port-à-Piment. As a child, his mother wouldn't let him play soccer. However, he climbed over the wall of his house to play in the streets with his friends. Eventually, when he turned 17, an Haitian first league club hired him. Today, he's the star of Wisla Krakow.

youri chevri

Youri is a consultant for the Haitian Football Federation, a music producer, and he used to be a runner-up for Port-au-Prince's municipal elections in October 2015 as the youth's choice. Due to fraud suspicion, no one has been elected yet.

JOCELERME PRIvert

President Privert is doing the job ad interim. Since no one was elected at the end of the previous President's term, he was appointed President due to his position of President of the Senate. According to him "soccer is the soul of Haiti".

patrice neveu

An adventurer in the world of football, Patrice Neveu already coached the national selection of DRC, Mauritania and South-Sudan. He's got the experience of warm football destinations and exotic selections.

Dr-Yves Jean-Bart "Dadou"

Dadou is a football passionnate. At the top of the Haitian football since 15 years, he's got a vision for football that goes beyond sports performances. He sees football as an educational tool for the Haitian youth.

about us

A former lawyer, François is currently busy with several entrepreneurial ventures. Together with Regi, he structured the project and will be responsible for its distribution.

Benoît graduated from IHECS. Since then he took part to many artistic project and realized various videos related to music and arts in general. He also directed a couple of advertising videos.

A professional football player at Standard Liège, Regi was born in Haiti. He initiated the project Inside Haiti to tell the story of his people's passion for football
